Florida Overhauls College Accreditation - Purges Woke Content

Ron DeSantis just dropped another bomb on the woke establishment—this time aiming at the jugular of higher education. In a major victory for anti-woke reformers, the Florida governor is officially implementing his plan to strip power from the old-school university accreditation boards he calls a “cartel of leftist indoctrinators.” Translation?

No more rubber-stamping degrees that come with a side of gender theory, DEI nonsense, and climate panic.

Under the new law, Florida schools can ditch legacy accreditors—most of whom are federal gatekeepers enforcing Biden-era “equity” mandates—and shop around for alternatives that don’t treat critical race theory as gospel.

The DeSantis administration argues the move will protect schools from political retaliation and give students “education, not indoctrination.” Critics, of course, are calling it dangerous—because apparently, letting taxpayers choose freedom over forced wokeness is a “threat to democracy.”
