Dearborn, Chicago or St. Louis? NYC's Fate in a Mamdani World

Dearborn, Chicago or St. Louis? NYC's Fate in a Mamdani World

New York City—once the shining symbol of American grit and freedom—is teetering on the edge. With radical socialist and pro-Islamist candidate Zohran Mamdani leading the mayoral race, even lifelong New Yorkers are starting to whisper what they never thought they’d say: Is this the end of the city that survived 9/11?

Mamdani, a self-proclaimed Marxist “abolitionist,” has become the darling of the woke elite—endorsed by activists who think police are the problem and capitalism is evil. His campaign promises include defunding the NYPD, hiking taxes on “the rich” (translation: small business owners), and flooding the city with more illegal migrants. Sound familiar? It’s the same playbook that turned Chicago into a war zone and San Francisco into an open-air drug den.

What’s more disturbing is how quickly New Yorkers forgot. Twenty-four years ago, Rudy Giuliani’s leadership brought law and order to a city once crippled by crime and fear. He restored safety, rebuilt confidence, and showed the world that America could never be broken. Now, with Mamdani poised to reverse every one of those hard-won victories, New York risks becoming the next St. Louis—or worse, another Dearborn, where radical ideology trumps American values.

For business owners, this isn’t just politics—it’s survival. Under Mamdani’s “equity agenda,” job creators become villains, and the hardworking taxpayers footing the bill for his utopian fantasies get crushed.

Far From Woke verdict: New York is staring down the barrel of a communist revolution in City Hall. The question isn’t whether Mamdani will ruin the city—it’s how fast.
