Havana on the Hudson? Mamdani’s Radical Agenda Looms Over NYC

Eric Adams may be a failed mayor, but his possible exit from the race leaves New Yorkers staring down something far worse: socialist Muslim radical Zohran Mamdani. A disciple of AOC and the Democratic Socialists of America, Mamdani wants to turn New York into a Marxist playground—rent freezes, city-owned grocery stores, government-run housing, and sky-high taxes on the very businesses that keep the city alive.

Adams’ corruption scandals have weakened him so much that insiders say he might step aside. That opens the door for Mamdani to push his “revolution” in America’s financial capital. Imagine Wall Street under siege by City Hall, bodegas and family shops crushed by socialist decrees, and taxpayers funding Mamdani’s utopian experiments. For entrepreneurs, landlords, and workers alike, it’s a nightmare scenario.

But Mamdani won’t have the stage to himself. Two familiar names are circling: disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo and Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa. Cuomo, desperate for a comeback tour, is already testing the waters, pitching himself as the seasoned “grown-up” compared to Mamdani’s radicalism. Sliwa, a tough-on-crime fighter who gave Adams a run for his money last time, has a loyal base of common-sense New Yorkers who want safety and sanity back in their city.

So the stakes couldn’t be higher: Mamdani’s socialist circus, Cuomo’s ego-driven redemption act, or Sliwa’s streetwise common sense. For New York businesses, families, and anyone who actually works for a living, Mamdani’s win would mean the death of the city’s future.

Far From Woke verdict: Stop Mamdani now—or watch New York become Havana on the Hudson.
