Leftist Hack Jake Tapper's Grandstands on Pronouns Following Minneapolis Shooting

CNN anchor Jake 'The Hack' Tapper is facing heavy backlash after his coverage of the horrific Minneapolis Catholic school shooting, where a transgender gunman killed two children and injured 17 others. Instead of focusing on the victims and the devastated families, Tapper spent valuable airtime lecturing viewers about using the shooter’s preferred pronouns.

The reaction was swift and brutal. “Kids are dead, and Jake’s worried about pronouns,” one viral post said, racking up over 40,000 likes. Critics across the political spectrum slammed Tapper’s tone-deaf priorities, calling his commentary “sick” and “insulting” in the wake of a tragedy targeting Catholic children during Mass.

The shooter, born Robert but legally changed to Robin, clearly targeted a religious community in what authorities are investigating as a hate crime. Yet Tapper’s biggest concern appeared to be “grammar politics,” as one critic put it.

This obsession with identity over reality highlights just how out of touch CNN has become with everyday Americans. Polls consistently show that nearly 70% of viewers want news focused on facts, not political correctness. But instead of spotlighting the victims or probing security failures, Tapper chose to give a sermon on pronoun etiquette.

Defenders argue that Tapper was simply being respectful. But for families mourning their children, such semantic concerns come across as grotesque. His performance underscored how skewed the priorities of mainstream media have become—more concerned with pushing a transgender narrative than with honoring victims of violence.
